The Young Entrepreneurs Camp for kids 7 to 15yrs.
Coming off from the success of our entrepreneurial camp in November last year, JLPC is bringing it back with a renewed and refreshed programme this June.

Date: 4th to 7th June 2013 (Tues to Fri)
Timing: 9.30am to 5.30pm daily (lunch included)
Venue: Victoria Junior College, 20 Marine Vista, Singapore 449035
Camp Fees: $450 ($400 per child for group registrations of 3 or more kids)

Registration closes on 24th May 2013.
Apart from changing our camp venue, we're also very happy to extend a warm welcome to the student leaders from VJC who will be joining the team of experienced facilitators for this camp. We look forward to having them on board with us.
It is so important to be able to give our children the time and an outlet to explore the world around them, and see it through an inventor's eyes. I've been wowed by what our children have been able to create at our past events and more importantly, been amazed by their levels of engagement for each and every challenge that we've thrown at them. I strongly believe that this will make them even more ready to take on what the future holds for them in this unbelievably challenging world that we're living in.
JLPC, through the Kids Invent! program, focuses not only on the Science experience that each activity brings but also on the life skills that the children pick up along the way, such as collaboration and teamwork (trust me... this is always a tough one with the kids), thinking out of the box and problem solving, learning how to communicate their thoughts and ideas with others, creating and innovating with limited resources but unlimited imagination, and even learning to do simple things like tying their shoelaces or ripping off a piece of masking tape.
Our line up of activities include all-time favourites like gravity cars, straw shooters and water rockets, but we've also incorporated new ones which will allow kids to work with batteries and circuits, as well as some water related challenges such as a gravity boats and aluminum ferries.
We also want to give the kids time to invent and produce a prototype of a toy idea that may possibly be brought to venture given the right support system. We've had interesting ideas popping up in the past and who knows what this camp will bring us.
Parents have a HUGE part to play in this component of the camp and the kids are always thrilled to see their parents engaged in their ideas.
